Sonesta Simply Suites Albuquerque

Excellent place to stay especially long term. The staff is amazing. I was In a very odd and somewhat stressful predicament and the staff helped every way they could to make sure I was accommodated. I'm Very pleased with my stay so far, I'm extending it far passed what i intended and will be returning .

I stayed here for one night and it was a pleasant experience. I'd stayed at the Sonesta ES Suites (much longer review there) and I wasn't expecting all the amenities I'd received there, but this hotel didn't disappoint either. The check-in process was smooth and I liked the location of my room on the top floor and the views of the city and mountains from my window. I was in a King room suite and the room was very cozy and the bed sat high and slept comfortably. I appreciated the large bathroom and especially the extra surface space of the desk area. The room could have used a little extra dusting, however, this was a minor pet peeve for me.

My husband and I came from SFO to ABQ and encountered severe delay for more than 4 hours. That’s to say we arrived at 3 AM in Dec 24th, 2025. What’s worse was I got food poisoning after eating at SFO and was super uncomfortable, nearly unable to talk. The lady at front desk was super welcoming and let us in right after the doorbell rang. She was supportive and clearly without any attitude after being disturbed in the midnight. The whole check in process was easy and didn’t take much time so that I entered quickly and had some rest. The room was clearly not new but considering the price I absolutely have no complaint. We stayed at room 128 and didn’t hear any noise. It was clean, fully equipped with whatever necessary for a few days, no smell that others complained about in the reviews, no bedbug or cockroach mentioned by others. As I was little worried when I saw those reviews. I would come back again next time to New Mexico.

I found the grounds clean, safe and quiet despite some other reviewers not feeling this way. There are way worse parts of ABQ than this. Check in was easy enough, both women at the front desk were professional. $5 PARKING FEE & $100 SECURITY DEPOSIT since they don't have those posted on their site, its always nice to know ahead of time. I got my deposit back in a timely manner but don't understand why parking isn't free or already rolled into the price of the room. Room was spacious & clean. Hotel seemed quiet (especially for Memorial Day weekend). Bed was great, comfy with lots of pillows. However there was one small stain on the comforter, easy to ignore as the actual sheets seemed pristine. Overall a great stay. Would have even preferred to stay longer than one night, due to the convenient location. There is a coffee shop across the street but it was closed the day we checked out. I will definitely stay here again as I visit ABQ frequently.

Just stayed for a road trip, front desk Lily was wonderful and friendly. Checking in was good as well; room was very roomy. Compared to the other hotels in Albuquerque, this hotel is on Top and recommend.

Got to room and started inspecting. Everything was clean except for the bottom sheet on my bed. It wouldnt have been noticeable because all the dirtiness was at the bottom. Sheet looked nasty with hair. I put a sheet over the dirty one so i would feel a little comfortable sleeping. Besides this setback, the room was decent forba good price . Parking lot seemed sketchy.

Julen, was very responsive to our needs and helped us with a smile. Breakfast was delicious

I just spent the last few days traveling from CT to NM. I was trying to keep the room budget right around $100 per stay and did well until Best Western in Amarillo, TX , where they squeezed me for $150. My Sonesta room was right in that $100 range and it is by far the best one I've stayed in the entire trip! It's basically like a very, very nice studio apartment w/kitchen and all!
